If you’re like a lot of people, your first question about health care is:
HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?
When you come to Shalom as a patient, your first step is to meet with a financial counselor who will help explain the costs of your health care and help you figure out how to cover those costs. We’ll help you find out if you’re eligible for services at reduced cost or at no cost to you, through programs like Medicaid, Shalom Advantage, and the Prescription Assistance Program.
Services in Shalom’s Primary Care Clinic are offered on a sliding fee scale, based on family size and income. Your financial counselor will work with you to apply all the discounts you qualify for, to make sure that your health care is as affordable as possible. Programs in Shalom’s school-based clinics are offered free or at a nominal rate, thanks to our supporters’ generosity. Services in the school-based clinics are generally only offered to students at those schools.
