Mobile Clinic

Shalom's Mobile Clinic

Meeting families where they are.

The Mobile Clinic started providing services in August 2020. We had originally picked up the unit in October 2019 with the intention of beginning services in March of 2020, but then COVID hit.

Shalom Mobile Clinic seeks to create healthy environments and increase health equity through preventative and responsive interdisciplinary health care treatments to low-income communities and minority populations by bringing health care services to the doorstep of neighborhoods and organizations, eliminating the barriers of accessing quality health care services. We offer Primary Care, Substance Use Disorder, Behavioral Health, and HIV Testing and Education on board the Mobile Clinic, partnering with several agencies around the community. The Mobile Clinic is also featured in several events around the city throughout the year offering health screenings and free HIV tests.

OUR MISSION:

TO PROVIDE QUALITY HEALTH CARE THAT IS PATIENT-CENTERED, AFFORDABLE AND ACCESSIBLE FOR ALL IN OUR COMMUNITY.

The Shalom staff goes out of their way to accommodate our immediate needs and concerns.
